You MUST set and artist and title for this audio cut. The combination of the artist and title will automatically fill in the filename field.

You can also set the audio type and the category from this screen.

You can also select mono or stereo and the output file type however the mono/stereo and output file type are set in master settings and will always default to the choice in master settings.

1Audio Type

Audio Type Choose the Audio Type of this recording.

2Artist Name

Artist Name Required Field

Once again, spelling is important if you intend on using Artist Protection.

3Title

Title Required Field

Once again, spelling is important if you intend on using Title Protection.

4Category

Category You can select the category for this audio cut now.

5VU Meters

VU Meters It's best to have the VU meters bounce around 3/4 the way up the meters. However, it will ultimately take you to listen to the audio cuts to see how the sound is.

6File Name

File Name This will be automatically created.

File Named in The Digital Juke Box past version 6.7.100 are now fixed file names and called DJB_XXXXX.EXT

where XXXXX is the file number and EXT is either MP3, WAV, WMA or OGG.

7Start Recording

Start Recording This will start the recording.

8Finish Recording

Finish Recording This will save your recording to the on-air system.

9Exit

Exit Pressing Exit will cancel the recording.

10Weather

Weather This will display the current on-air weather for you incase you are recording the weather.

11Input Settings

Input Settings Select the Audio Card and the Input Channel before recording. it will remember your settings after you first set them.

Next to the VU Meters is an input level adjustment that will allow you to adjust the level better.
